The Crunch Leather Office Briefcase is FountainEarth's professional office bag — finished in LWG-certified crunch-textured genuine leather, sized at 36 cm × 27 cm × 9 cm. Magnetic front-flap closure, padded sleeve fits a 15-inch laptop plus charger, with three open interior pockets and one zipped pocket for organisation. • Magnetic flap (front) closure. Hidden neodymium magnets in the front flap hold it closed silently — no buckle, no zip across the top. Pulls open with one hand for fast access in a meeting.
• Fits 15-inch laptop. Padded interior sleeve sized for 15.6" laptops (MacBook Pro 16", ThinkPad X1 Carbon, equivalent 15"–16" business laptops) plus charger.
• 5 compartments. 1 padded laptop sleeve + 3 open interior pockets + 1 zipped interior pocket + 1 back zip exterior pocket. Enough organisation to find a charger without rummaging.
• 36 × 27 × 9 cm. Sized for an A4 document or a standard office file alongside the laptop. The 9 cm depth keeps it slim enough not to read as overstuffed.
• Crunch-textured leather. The "crunch" finish is a deliberate creased grain — applied during tanning so the texture is permanent. Reads as character rather than wear, and improves with age.

Made in Bharat at our Delhi workshop

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every briefcase is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The crunch finish is the texture distinctive of this bag — applied during tanning by a controlled creasing process that locks the grain pattern into the leather panel. It cannot wear off; it deepens with use. The magnetic flap mechanism uses high-grade neodymium magnets seated between two leather panels. The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, the laptop sleeve interior is padded with closed-cell foam, and the lining is stitched not glued.

The briefcase ships with silver-toned hardware throughout — magnetic flap mechanism, handle attachments, zip pulls, and the cast Nib emblem are solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. How to care for the bag:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The crunch finish is engineered to deepen with use — small scuffs blend into the texture rather than standing out.
• The magnetic flap holds firmly even after thousands of openings; if it ever weakens, the magnet component can be replaced under our Lifetime Repair Service.
• For prolonged storage, fill the bag with crumpled tissue paper so it holds shape.
• Store the briefcase in the FountainEarth dust bag when not in daily use.

Frequently asked questions

What laptop sizes fit?
The padded sleeve fits 15"–16" business laptops: MacBook Pro 16", ThinkPad X1 Carbon, Dell XPS 15, HP EliteBook 850, equivalent. A 14" laptop fits loosely with room for a charger alongside. 13" laptops fit but with room to spare.

How strong is the magnetic flap?
The neodymium magnets hold firmly enough that the flap stays closed even when the briefcase is held upside down and shaken. To open, pull the flap up — the magnets release cleanly. With normal use the magnets hold reliably for years; if they ever weaken, the component can be replaced.

Does it fit A4 documents?
Yes — A4 documents (29.7 × 21 cm) fit in the main compartment alongside the laptop, in any of the three open interior pockets, or under the front flap. The bag's 36 × 27 cm exterior is sized specifically to accommodate A4 plus a 15" laptop.

Every piece ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag — a soft cotton sleeve that protects the leather in transit and works as long-term storage when the piece isn't in daily use. For corporate orders we have two tiers: plain corporate orders start at a 10-unit minimum; custom-branded orders (co-branded dust bag, monogramming) start at a 25-unit minimum, with a typical 4–5 week turnaround.
