The Lexor Ultra Slim Leather Laptop Sleeve is FountainEarth's sustainable slim laptop carry — finished in GRS-certified recycled pebbled leather, sized at 36 cm × 24 cm × 2.5 cm. How it is used

A sleeve for the person who carries a laptop daily and wants the slimmest possible profile — small enough to slip inside a backpack as a second layer, big enough to stand alone.

• Open-top main pocket. The main compartment opens at the top — no zip across the laptop, so the laptop slides in and out quickly. Sized for 15-inch laptops or 12.9-inch tablets with a thin folio.
• Back zip pocket. Independent flat zip pocket runs the full width of the back panel — fits charger, cables, USB stick, earbuds case. Accessible without disturbing the laptop in the main pocket.
• 2.5 cm slim profile. The slimmest laptop sleeve in the FountainEarth line — slides inside a backpack as a layer alongside other contents, or carries alone as a thin standalone sleeve.
• Pebbled recycled leather. Natural-grain pebbled texture on GRS-certified recycled leather — softer in the hand than smooth or saffiano, more forgiving on visible wear.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our recycled leather comes from GRS-audited supply chains, and every sleeve is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. GRS (Global Recycled Standard) verifies the chain of custody, the recycled content percentage, and the environmental, social, and chemical management at every stage. The open-top design is the structural distinctive — most laptop sleeves close with a flap or magnet, which add bulk. The Lexor leaves the top open and uses the snug fit of the pocket to keep the laptop in place. The back zip pocket is sewn as an independent compartment so cables stored there don't press into the laptop screen. The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, and the lining is stitched not glued.

How to care for the bag:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The pebbled finish hides scuffs well — small marks blend into the natural grain.
• If a zipper feels stiff after long use, rub a graphite pencil tip along the teeth.
• The open-top design is the distinctive choice — don't carry the sleeve upside down in a tote, or the laptop can slide out. In a backpack, orient the open top facing up.

Frequently asked questions

What laptop sizes fit?
The sleeve fits 15"–16" business laptops: MacBook Pro 16", ThinkPad X1 Carbon, Dell XPS 15, HP EliteBook 850, equivalent. Smaller 13"–14" laptops fit loosely with room to spare. 12.9-inch tablets (iPad Pro 12.9, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra at 14") fit; larger 14"+ tablets do not.

Why no flap or magnet?
The open-top design is intentional — every closure mechanism (flap, magnet, zip) adds depth and weight. The Lexor stays at 2.5 cm because it has none. The snug pocket fit keeps the laptop in place; the sleeve sits inside a backpack or under-arm carry where the open top is naturally protected.

Is recycled leather second-rate?
No — recycled leather is built from leather panels rescued from tannery offcuts, blended, and re-finished to the same wear-resistance standard as virgin leather. The pebbled finish hides minor scuffs better than smooth leather. The trade-off is purely environmental: a lower footprint, with the same daily-use performance.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.
