The Croco Compact Sling Bag is FountainEarth's hands-free daily carry — finished in LWG-certified machine-embossed croco leather, sized at 26.5 cm × 22 cm × 6 cm. Adjustable shoulder strap, main zip compartment with 8 card slots inside, and a back zip pocket for quick-access essentials. How it is used

A bag for the person who has decided the hands-free crossbody is the right answer to running through airports, weekend cities, and the daily commute.

• Two compartments. Main zip opens a roomy 26.5 cm pocket with 8 internal card slots, a side phone slot, and space for keys, charger, and small notebook. Back zip is independent — flat, accessible without unzipping the main.
• Adjustable shoulder strap. Wide, padded leather strap adjusts to wear as a crossbody (hands-free) or over one shoulder (semi-formal). Length adjustable from 60 cm to 130 cm.
• 26.5 × 22 × 6 cm compact format. Sized to hold a standard phone (up to iPhone 14 Pro Max), wallet, small charger, keys, and earbuds case — without becoming a bag that swallows things.
• Machine-embossed croco finish. The croco scale pattern is registered into the leather panel during finishing — the texture is part of the leather, not a print. Catches light, hides minor scuffs.
• FountainEarth Nib icon. A small debossed mark on the front face. Quiet branding suitable for unisex use.

Made in Bharat at our Delhi workshop

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every sling bag is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The croco emboss is registered into the leather panel during finishing — the scale geometry is uniform across the front and back faces, the panels matched by hand. The adjustable shoulder strap uses bonded-leather construction at the connection points (where the strap meets the body) for shear strength, then stitched leather across the wearing length. The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, and the lining is stitched not glued.

The sling ships with silver-toned hardware throughout — strap connectors, zip pulls, and the cast Nib emblem are solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. Colour: classic black. Ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag.

How to care for the bag:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The croco emboss is durable but loose keys inside the main compartment can scratch the inside leather over time — keep keys in the back zip or a key pouch.
• If the strap connectors loosen, write to support@fountainearth.com — covered under the Lifetime Repair Service.
• Store in the FountainEarth dust bag when not in daily use.
• For prolonged storage, fill the bag with crumpled tissue paper so it holds shape.

Frequently asked questions

Is the croco real?
No — the croco texture is machine-embossed onto genuine LWG-certified leather. FountainEarth does not use any exotic or reptile leather. The aesthetic is the croco scale geometry on standard cowhide.

Will my phone fit?
The main compartment has a dedicated phone slot sized for iPhone 14 Pro Max and equivalent Android flagships — about 16 × 8 × 1 cm. Larger phones with bulky cases may need to go in the main pocket instead.

Is it suitable for men and women?
Yes — the bag is unisex by design. In classic black with the 26.5 cm compact dimension, it works for men as a travel crossbody and for women as a daily city bag.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.

What does the warranty cover?
The 1-Year Warranty covers material and craftsmanship defects within the first year — stitching, leather finish, debossing. The Lifetime Repair Service covers stitch repair at no labour charge. Hardware replacement is available if needed — replacement component charged at the time of repair, no labour charge.

How does it ship?
Every piece ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag — a soft cotton sleeve that protects the leather in transit and works as long-term storage when the piece isn't in daily use. For corporate orders we have two tiers: plain corporate orders start at a 10-unit minimum; custom-branded orders (co-branded dust bag, monogramming) start at a 25-unit minimum, with a typical 4–5 week turnaround.
