The Croco Leather Passport Travel Wallet is FountainEarth's passport cover for the regular traveller — finished in LWG-certified machine-embossed croco leather, sized at 15 cm × 11 cm × 0.7 cm so it slips into any travel jacket or carry-on pocket. Holds an Indian passport plus 4 cards, with the document opening cleanly for airport scanning. Made from LWG-certified genuine leather, hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop.

How it is used

A wallet for the person who travels four to six times a year and is tired of fishing a loose passport from a backpack pocket.

• Holds passport + 4 cards. Passport sleeve sized to fit the Indian passport (ICAO Doc 9303 standard); four card slots inside for credit card, ID, foreign currency cards, or boarding passes.
• Opens flat for scanning. No additional flap or closure to undo at immigration — the passport slides out cleanly while the cover stays in the hand.
• 0.7 cm slim. Loaded with passport and 4 cards, the cover sits at 0.7 cm — adds almost no bulk over the bare passport.
• Machine-embossed croco finish. The croco scale pattern is registered into the leather during finishing. Catches light, hides scuffs better than smooth leather.
• FountainEarth Nib icon. A small debossed mark on the front face. Quiet branding suitable for travel.

Made in Bharat at our Delhi workshop

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every passport cover is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The machine-embossed croco texture is registered into the leather panel during finishing. The passport sleeve is cut to the ICAO Doc 9303 standard so the Indian passport fits cleanly — neither too tight (forcing the spine) nor loose (rattling when held). The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, and the lining is stitched not glued. Fountain Earth's catalogue stays small by choice: two passport covers — LWG croco and GRS recycled — each with a deliberate material choice.

The cover ships with silver-toned hardware on the cast Nib emblem — solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. Ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag (a soft cotton sleeve, ideal for tucking into a luggage compartment).

How to care for the wallet:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight in luggage — leather darkens slightly with prolonged UV exposure.
• Store the cover in the FountainEarth dust bag when not travelling.
• The croco emboss is durable, but loose keys in the same pocket can leave marks.

Frequently asked questions

Will my Indian passport fit?
Yes. The sleeve is cut to the ICAO Doc 9303 standard which the Indian passport follows — 12.5 cm × 8.8 cm closed. The cover's internal sleeve fits the passport with a small margin for clean insertion and removal at immigration counters.

Is the croco real?
No — the croco texture is machine-embossed onto genuine LWG-certified leather. FountainEarth does not use any exotic or reptile leather. The aesthetic is the croco scale geometry on standard cowhide, registered during finishing.

Does it offer RFID protection?
No FountainEarth product carries RFID-blocking material — we do not claim a feature we don't offer. Indian passports use ICAO-compliant chips that already require physical proximity to be read; the practical risk of skimming through a leather cover is minimal for standard travel.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.

What does the warranty cover?

How does it ship?
Every piece ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag — a soft cotton sleeve that protects the leather in transit and works as long-term storage when the piece isn't in daily use. For corporate orders we have two tiers: plain corporate orders start at a 10-unit minimum; custom-branded orders (co-branded dust bag, monogramming) start at a 25-unit minimum, with a typical 4–5 week turnaround.
