The Croco Travel Bag is FountainEarth's organisation-heavy travel companion — finished in LWG-certified machine-embossed croco leather, sized at 24 cm × 30 cm × 8.5 cm. Top-handle zip opens to a main compartment with a 13-inch tablet sleeve, 6 card slots, 2 pen slots, and 3 small pockets. A separate back zip adds a flat exterior pocket. Made from LWG-certified genuine leather, hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop.

How it is used

A bag for the person whose travel kit includes a tablet, a notebook, three pens, a wallet, charging cables, and four loose items they always lose.

• Five-compartment organisation. Main compartment: 1 padded 13" tablet sleeve, 6 card slots, 2 pen loops, 3 small pockets. Plus 1 independent back zip pocket — quick access without unzipping the main.
• Fits 13-inch tablets. Internal padded sleeve sized for iPad Pro 13", iPad Air 13", Galaxy Tab S9+, Surface Pro, and equivalent.
• Top-handle zip carry. Single padded leather top handle for hand-carry; zip runs the full length so the main compartment opens flat for packing and finding things.
• 24 × 30 × 8.5 cm vertical format. Vertical (taller than wide) so it fits along the back panel of a backpack or stands upright in a suitcase. Slim 8.5 cm depth keeps the silhouette professional, not bulky.
• Machine-embossed croco finish. The croco scale pattern is registered into the leather during finishing. Catches light, hides minor scuffs.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every travel bag is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The internal organisation is the structural distinctive of this bag — most travel bags give you one open pocket. The 13" tablet sleeve, 6 card slots, 2 pen loops, and 3 small pockets are stitched as fixed panels inside the main compartment, so contents stay in place during travel. The croco emboss is registered into the leather panel during finishing, the Nib emblem is debossed, and the lining is stitched not glued.

The bag ships with silver-toned hardware throughout — top-handle attachments, zip pulls, and the cast Nib emblem are solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. Colour: classic black. Ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag.

How to care for the bag:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• For prolonged storage, fill the bag with crumpled tissue paper so it holds shape.
• The top-handle stitching is reinforced — if a thread ever loosens, write to support@fountainearth.com (covered under Lifetime Repair Service).
• Empty the pen loops of metal-clip pens for long storage — the clips can press marks into the leather over months.
• Store the bag in the FountainEarth dust bag when not in daily use.

Frequently asked questions

What tablet sizes fit?
The internal sleeve is sized for 13-inch tablets: iPad Pro 13", iPad Air 13", Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+, Microsoft Surface Pro, and equivalent. A thin folio case fits alongside in most cases; bulky cases may not.

Will my notebook fit alongside the tablet?
The main compartment is roomy enough for the tablet in its dedicated sleeve plus an A5 notebook in the open main pocket. Larger A4 notebooks fit but use up the headroom.

Is the croco real?
No — the croco texture is machine-embossed onto genuine LWG-certified leather. FountainEarth does not use any exotic or reptile leather.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.

What does the warranty cover?
The 1-Year Warranty covers material and craftsmanship defects within the first year — stitching, leather finish, debossing. The Lifetime Repair Service covers stitch repair at no labour charge. How does it ship?
Every piece ships in the FountainEarth branded dust bag — a soft cotton sleeve that protects the leather in transit and works as long-term storage when the piece isn't in daily use. For corporate orders we have two tiers: plain corporate orders start at a 10-unit minimum; custom-branded orders (co-branded dust bag, monogramming) start at a 25-unit minimum, with a typical 4–5 week turnaround.
