LWG-Certified Genuine Leather, Machine-Embossed Croco
The genuine leather is sourced at LWG-audited tanneries in Bharat — the Leather Working Group certification that documents environmental performance through every stage of the tanning process. The croco texture is machine-embossed and then hand-finished — the embossing equipment registers the scale geometry uniformly across the panel, the hand-finishing is what gives each scale its depth, edge, and individual catch of light. The interior is lined in soft black, stitched not glued. Hardware is solid zinc alloy, silver-toned.

Caring for your passport cover
Treated kindly, croco-embossed leather only deepens over time. A few habits that keep it that way, especially for a piece that travels with you:
- Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after each trip, working along the scale lines rather than across them. Avoid synthetic cleaners, alcohol wipes, and direct heat.
- Store in the dust bag that came with it (or any breathable cotton sleeve), away from direct sunlight, away from radiators.
- Condition every 3–6 months with a neutral leather balm — a pea-sized amount, worked in along the grain with a microfibre cloth.
- Empty before storing. Removing the passport between trips prevents the spine from holding a permanent fold.

No — and that's by design. The texture is machine-embossed onto LWG-certified genuine cow leather and then hand-finished. Real exotic skin trade is environmentally and ethically fraught; embossing on cow leather gives the silhouette and visual weight of croco without the supply chain. The genuine leather itself is third-party LWG-audited.
Will my passport actually fit?
