The Everyday Slim Wallet is FountainEarth's long-format wallet for women — sized to hold a phone alongside the wallet itself, finished in soft pebbled leather, and built around the way a working day actually moves between cards and cash. Made from GRS-certified recycled leather, hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. Available in classic black or warm brown.

How it is used

Built around the way a woman actually uses a wallet — not as a fold tucked in a bag, but as an organiser carried in hand between counters, taxis, and coffee orders.

• 8 card slots. Six on one side, two on the reverse — sized for credit cards, ID, and a thin transit card. Cards slide in and out without bending; the leather doesn't stretch over time.
• 4 open compartments. Two full-width pockets behind the cards on each side — receipts, currency notes folded once, a folded receipt or a business card.
• 1 secure zip compartment. Centred zip pocket for coins, small keys, or the cash you don't want sliding out — runs the full length of the wallet with the FountainEarth Nib zipper puller.
• Pebbled leather finish. A soft tactile surface that hides minor scuffs better than smooth leather. Deepens in colour with use.
• 21 cm length, 11.5 cm height. Sized to be held in one hand or slipped into a clutch — fits a phone alongside it in most handbags.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. The Everyday Slim Wallet comes from our Recycled line — built from GRS-certified recycled leather. The Global Recycled Standard verifies the chain of custody, the recycled content percentage, and the environmental, social, and chemical management at every stage. Every wallet is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The pebbled texture is a natural-grain finish — gentler on the hand than smooth saffiano, more forgiving on visible wear. The FountainEarth Nib icon is debossed into the front face; the Nib zipper puller is solid zinc alloy with gold-toned plating. Fountain Earth's catalogue stays small by choice: three women's wallets, each built for a different daily carry.

The lining is stitched not glued — matched to the leather colour on each variant. Black exterior carries a black lining; brown exterior carries a brown lining. The stitched construction means the interior holds shape over years rather than separating from the leather over time.

Recycled leather isn't second-rate leather — it's leather panels rescued from tannery offcuts, blended, and re-finished to the same wear-resistance standard as virgin leather. The pebbled finish hides minor scuffs better than smooth leather. Lower environmental footprint, same standard of craft.

How to care for the wallet:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• Keep coins zipped into the centre compartment rather than the open pockets — loose coins wear the leather.
• Store in the FountainEarth gift box between heavy use, or any breathable cloth pouch.
• Skip leather conditioner for the first six months — the pebbled finish is already sealed.
• If the zip feels stiff, run a soft pencil along the teeth once — graphite is the gentlest lubricant.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit in my handbag?
At 21 cm × 11.5 cm × 2.3 cm, the Everyday Slim Wallet fits comfortably in any standard handbag — including most crossbody bags and clutches. The long format means it lies flat against the side of the bag rather than bunching at the corner. Many customers carry it alongside a phone in the same compartment.

How many cards can I actually fit?
Designed for 8 cards in the dedicated slots — 6 on one side, 2 on the reverse. The slots are sized so cards slide easily but don't slip out; if you carry fewer, the wallet stays slim. Pushing more than 10 cards stretches the leather over time, so we don't recommend it.

What's the difference between this and the Carter Slim Wallet?
The Everyday Slim Wallet is the longer organiser — 21 cm with a zip compartment for cash and coins. The Carter Slim Wallet is the shorter magnetic-flap card holder for women who carry minimum essentials. Same pebbled leather, different daily carry.

Will the gold finish on the zipper wear off?
The zipper puller is solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade gold-toned plating, engineered for years of normal daily wear. Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
