The Signature Compact Zip Wallet is FountainEarth's compact secure wallet — finished in scratch-resistant saffiano leather, sized at 11.5 cm × 10 cm × 2 cm. How it is used

A wallet for the person who travels, runs, or commutes hard — and wants the security of a zip without the bulk of a bifold.

• 360-degree zip closure. The zip runs around three sides of the wallet, so the interior opens completely flat when unzipped and closes completely when zipped. Nothing falls out — cards, cash, coins all stay inside even when the wallet is dropped.
• 3 card slots + cash compartment + coin pocket. Three card slots for the daily essentials, a flat cash compartment for currency notes, and a dedicated zip-back coin pocket so coins don't mix with cards.
• 11.5 × 10 cm compact format. Smaller than a long wallet, larger than a card holder — sized for the front trouser pocket or a small handbag without being lost in either.
• Scratch-resistant saffiano finish. The cross-hatch texture is engineered to resist scratches from keys, coins, and pocket wear.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every wallet is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The saffiano cross-hatch is rolled into the leather panel during tanning — the texture isn't a coating. The 360-degree zip mechanism is the structural innovation here: it allows the wallet to open completely flat when unzipped (so you can see and access everything at once) and close completely when zipped (so nothing falls out even if the wallet is dropped). The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, and the lining is stitched not glued.

The wallet ships with gold-toned hardware on the cast Nib emblem — solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. The zipper puller is a generic unbranded gold-toned piece chosen for smooth operation. Colour: classic black.

How to care for the wallet:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The saffiano cross-hatch is scratch-resistant — keep loose keys in a separate pocket.
• Store in the FountainEarth gift box between heavy use.
• If the zip feels stiff after long use, rub a graphite pencil tip along the teeth — opens smoothly.
• Empty the coin pocket of heavy or sharp coins when storing for extended periods — they can press marks into the leather over time.

What is a 360-degree zip?
The zip runs around three sides of the wallet (top, side, and bottom), so when unzipped the wallet opens like a book — all contents visible and accessible. When zipped, nothing can fall out from any side. The two long edges of the wallet (where a traditional bifold spine sits) are stitched closed; only the three zip-side edges open.

Is it suitable for both men and women?
Yes — at 11.5 × 10 cm the wallet is compact enough for a front trouser pocket and small enough for a handbag, with gender-neutral classic-black saffiano. Used by men, women, and as a unisex gift.

Will the coin pocket hold a lot?
The dedicated zip-back coin pocket comfortably holds a daily handful of coins (10–15 standard coins). For travel with foreign coins, the central cash compartment can be used as an overflow pocket.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
