The Executive Brogue Reversible Belt in brown and gold is a slim 3 cm dress belt for the working week. Brogue-perforated brown on one face, smooth black on the reverse, with a solid zinc alloy buckle in gold-toned plating that carries the FountainEarth Wordmark. Made from LWG-certified genuine leather, finished at our Delhi workshop. One belt that covers brown trousers Monday, black trousers Wednesday, and the wedding on Saturday.

How it is used

Built around how a working week actually shifts colour palettes — formal blacks one day, earthy browns the next, all from one strap.

• Two leather faces, one strap. Brogue-perforated brown on one side, smooth black on the reverse.
• Flip-buckle mechanism. Pull the buckle outward, the strap pivots free, rotate it 180°, slide the buckle back. The belt rotates without coming off your trousers — no pin to press.
• Slim 3 cm width. The dress-belt width that sits clean under a suit jacket — pairs with chinos through wool trousers.
• Fits 30"–42" waists. Pick a belt size 2 inches higher than your trouser waist. A 32" trouser = 34" belt.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every belt is finished by hand at our Delhi workshop. The reversible strap is built from two leather panels bonded edge-to-edge — clean reversible finish, no visible stitch lines on either face. Fountain Earth's catalogue stays small by choice: one reversible belt per colourway, built to last rather than to crowd a closet.

The brogue perforation is done at the leather panel stage, before bonding. The pattern stays consistent across the strap because it is registered uniformly by the perforating equipment, then deepened by hand-finishing. The reverse smooth side carries no perforation — it is the clean dress-belt face for occasions when the brogue detail would read as too informal.

How to care for the belt:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• Hang the belt at the end of the day rather than coiling it.
• Store in the FountainEarth gift box between wears, or any breathable cloth bag.
• Skip leather conditioner for the first six months — the leather is already finished.
• Rotate which side you wear from day to day — both faces will deepen with the same wear pattern.

Frequently asked questions

What size belt should I buy?
Pick a belt 2 inches higher than your trouser waist. A 32" trouser = a 34" belt. The strap covers waists from 30" to 42" using the pin-and-hole adjustment.

How do I reverse the buckle?
Hold the belt with one hand. Slide the buckle frame outward (away from the strap) — the strap pivots free, with no pin to press. Rotate the strap 180 degrees so the other leather face is showing. Slide the buckle frame back over the strap. The buckle holds by friction; the FountainEarth Wordmark shows the same way on both sides, so the change is only which leather face is showing.

Why is the edge bonded instead of stitched?
On reversible belts we bond the two leather panels edge-to-edge so neither face shows a stitch line. Single-sided belts are hand-stitched as a design feature. Our Lifetime Repair Service covers edge re-bonding if needed.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.

What does the warranty cover?
The 1-Year Warranty covers material and craftsmanship defects within the first year — buckle hardware, edge bonding, leather finish. Will the gold finish wear off?
