The Signature Mini Bifold Wallet is FountainEarth's smallest bifold — finished in scratch-resistant saffiano leather, sized at 8 cm × 10.5 cm × 1 cm. The vertical mini-bifold format — short side opens upward — fits in pockets where standard bifolds don't. 4 card slots, one cash compartment for folded notes, no closure. How it is used

A wallet for the person who has reduced their carry to the bare minimum — and refuses to bulk it up again.

• 4 card slots. Two on each side of the bifold — credit card, ID, and two more. Sized snugly for credit-card geometry.
• 1 folded-cash compartment. The cash compartment is sized for currency notes folded in half — fits 10–20 notes easily. For unfolded currency, see the long-wallet alternatives.
• Vertical mini-bifold. Opens along the short edge (top to bottom rather than left to right) — sits taller than wide, fits in vertical pockets where horizontal bifolds don't.
• 1 cm slim. Loaded at 4 cards plus folded notes, the wallet sits at 1 cm — the slimmest mini in the line.
• Scratch-resistant saffiano finish. The cross-hatch texture is engineered to resist scratches from keys, coins, and pocket wear.

Made in Bharat at our Delhi workshop

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every wallet is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The saffiano cross-hatch is rolled into the leather panel during tanning. The vertical mini-bifold format is the design choice that makes this wallet distinct from our other bifolds — the same construction philosophy at a smaller scale. The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, and the lining is stitched not glued.

The wallet ships with gold-toned hardware on the cast Nib emblem — solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. Colour: classic black.

How to care for the wallet:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The saffiano cross-hatch is scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof — keep loose keys separate.
• Store in the FountainEarth gift box between heavy use.
• Skip leather conditioner for the first six months — the saffiano finish is already sealed.
• The cash compartment is sized for half-folded notes; for unfolded notes, choose a long wallet.

Frequently asked questions

Is 4 cards really enough?
For most daily carriers, yes — one credit card, one debit, ID, transit covers most use. If you carry more than 4 cards, the Signature Slim Bifold (6 cards) or Saffiano Bifold (8 cards) sit at the same width but with more capacity.

Why the vertical fold?
The vertical mini-bifold fits into front trouser pockets sized for a phone but not for a horizontal wallet — it sits along the same vertical axis as the phone instead of competing for horizontal space. For people who already carry a phone in the front pocket, this is the wallet that fits beside it.

Will the saffiano really stay scratch-resistant?
Saffiano is a roll-finished leather technique developed in Italy specifically for scratch resistance — the cross-hatch pattern is pressed into the leather panel during tanning. The texture survives keys, coins, and pocket wear in a way smooth leather doesn't.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?

What does the warranty cover?
