The Voyager Crossbody Bag is FountainEarth's recycled-leather sling — built from GRS-certified recycled leather, finished in soft pebbled grain, and sized for the daily essentials carry without the bulk of a backpack or briefcase. How it is used

Built for the day that moves between meeting rooms, coffee runs, and errands — when both hands need to stay free.

• Main compartment with top-zip closure. Sized for a phone, a slim wallet, sunglasses in a soft case, a passport, a charger, keys, and a small notebook — the daily essentials of a working day.
• Front phone slip pocket. An open slip pocket on the front face — phone sits within reach without unzipping the main compartment. Sized for any phone up to 6.7 inches.
• Adjustable crossbody strap. Sized for any frame, adjustable for over-the-shoulder or true crossbody wear. Sits hands-free across the body.
• 16 cm × 22.5 cm × 6.5 cm. Compact silhouette — the bag doesn't read as a man's bag or a woman's bag; the proportions are deliberately neutral.
• Pebbled recycled leather. Soft tactile finish that hides minor scuffs better than smooth leather. Made from GRS-certified recycled material — the leather other tanneries waste, given a second life at our workshop.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. The Voyager comes from our Recycled line — built from GRS-certified recycled leather. The Global Recycled Standard verifies the chain of custody, the recycled content percentage, and the environmental, social, and chemical management at every stage. The pebbled grain is rolled into the recycled leather panel during finishing, the bag is assembled and hand-stitched at our Delhi workshop. The FountainEarth Nib icon is debossed on the front; the Nib zipper puller is solid zinc alloy with silver-toned plating. Fountain Earth's Recycled line is a deliberately small catalogue — three pieces, each built to last longer than the materials it replaces.

Recycled leather isn't second-rate leather — it's leather panels rescued from tannery offcuts, blended, and re-finished to the same wear-resistance standard as virgin leather. The pebbled finish is part of what makes recycled leather indistinguishable from virgin in daily use: same hand-feel, same scuff-resistance, same patina over time. How to care for the bag:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• Store in the FountainEarth branded dust bag between uses to keep the silhouette clean.
• Skip leather conditioner for the first six months — the pebbled finish is already sealed.
• Minor scuffs settle into the pebbled texture rather than standing out — that's by design.
• Keep the front phone pocket free of coins or sharp keys to preserve the finish.

Every recycled-leather bag carries a 1-Year Warranty plus our Lifetime Repair Service. The warranty covers material and craftsmanship defects in the first year. Frequently asked questions

What does GRS-certified recycled leather actually mean?
GRS — Global Recycled Standard — is an independent certification that verifies the chain of custody for recycled materials, the recycled content percentage (minimum 50% to qualify), and the environmental, social, and chemical management at every stage of production. For us, it means the leather is traceable back to tannery offcuts rather than new hides — same craft standard, lower environmental footprint.

How is recycled leather different from virgin leather in daily use?
In feel, in look, and in wear-resistance, recycled leather is indistinguishable from virgin leather. Tannery offcuts are blended, re-finished, and rolled into panels at the same wear-resistance standard as new hide. The pebbled finish hides minor scuffs better than smooth leather. The difference is environmental, not functional.

Will my phone fit in the front pocket?
Yes — the front slip pocket fits any phone up to 6.7 inches diagonal, including iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung S24 Ultra, and equivalents. The pocket is open-top for quick access; the main compartment is zipped for everything else.

Is it actually unisex?
Yes. The Voyager is built unisex by design — the 16 cm × 22.5 cm × 6.5 cm proportions, the neutral black colour, the adjustable strap, and the pebbled finish are deliberately gender-neutral. Worn equally with suits, kurtas, jeans, or a saree.

Will the silver finish on the zipper wear off?
The zipper puller is solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade silver-toned plating, engineered for years of normal daily wear. If you need a replacement after very long use, write to support@fountainearth.com for a quote — replacement component charged at the time of repair, no labour charge.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?

Yes. Every recycled-leather bag ships in a FountainEarth branded dust bag (the Recycled line uses dust bag packaging rather than gift box to keep the line's footprint lower). For corporate orders we have two tiers: plain corporate orders start at a 10-unit minimum; custom-branded orders (custom branding, monogramming) start at a 25-unit minimum, with a typical 4–5 week turnaround.
