The Classic Ultra Slim Bifold Wallet is FountainEarth's thinnest bifold for men — finished in LWG-certified pebbled genuine leather (a deliberate exception in our otherwise saffiano men's line), sized at 12 cm × 9 cm × 1.5 cm so it sits flat in any pocket. 8 card slots, one cash compartment, no closure mechanism. How it is used

A wallet for the man who measures the difference between 1.5 cm and 2 cm in his front trouser pocket.

• 8 card slots. Four on each side of the bifold — credit cards, ID, transit, one extra. The pebbled grain stops cards sliding around.
• 1 full-width cash compartment. Long pocket the width of the bifold — fits unfolded currency notes without bending.
• 1.5 cm loaded depth. The slimmest bifold in our catalogue — fits flat in front trouser pockets where other wallets bulge.
• Pebbled leather finish. Natural-grain pebbled texture — softer and gentler on the hand than smooth or saffiano, hides minor scuffs better. The pebble is LWG-certified virgin leather, not a recycled GRS material — a deliberate exception in the line.
• FountainEarth Nib icon. A small debossed mark on the front face. The mark deepens into the leather over months of use.

Made in Bharat at our Delhi workshop

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every wallet is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The pebbled finish is a natural-grain texture — gentler on the hand than smooth or saffiano, more forgiving on visible wear. Although our recycled-leather line uses pebbled finish on GRS-certified material, this wallet is a deliberate exception — pebbled finish on LWG-certified virgin leather, a design choice for the men's slim line. The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, the lining is stitched not glued, and the bifold uses no zip or snap so there's no mechanism to add bulk. Fountain Earth's catalogue stays small by choice: three men's slim wallets — pebbled, saffiano, croco — each with a single deliberate design.

The wallet ships with gold-toned hardware on the cast Nib emblem — solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. Colours available: classic black or warm brown, with matched lining.

How to care for the wallet:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The pebbled finish hides scratches well — small scuffs blend into the grain over time.
• Store in the FountainEarth gift box between heavy use.
• For the first six months, leather conditioner is unnecessary — the pebbled finish is sealed.
• Empty the cash compartment of folded notes when storing for extended periods, so the leather settles flat.

Frequently asked questions

Is this recycled leather or virgin leather?
Virgin leather. The Classic Ultra Slim is LWG-certified genuine leather with a pebbled finish — a deliberate design choice for our men's slim line. The pebbled texture in our recycled (GRS) line uses different leather; here the same texture appears on LWG-certified virgin leather as an exception. The certification is clearly stated on the dimensions block and product label.

How does 1.5 cm compare to the Saffiano at 1 cm?
The Saffiano sits at 1 cm loaded at 8 cards; the Classic Ultra Slim sits at 1.5 cm loaded at 8 cards. Both are slim by category standards (most bifolds run 2.5–3 cm). The pebbled finish adds a fraction of depth versus the cross-hatch saffiano. Choose by texture preference, not depth.

What's the difference between black and brown variants?
Same wallet, same dimensions, same layout — only the leather colour and the matched lining differ. Both variants use the same gold-toned cast Nib emblem.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.

What does the warranty cover?
