The pen is solid brass with a gunmetal finish, contract manufactured to FountainEarth specifications at a facility that has supplied the German luxury pen market for two decades. The hardware across all four pieces is solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade silver-toned plating, so the gunmetal pen, the wallet's Nib emblem, the card holder's Nib emblem, and the keyring's split ring all visually match.
