How it is used

A wallet for the man who carries less, deliberately — and refuses to choose between bulk and capacity.

• 8 card slots. Four on each side of the bifold — sized for credit cards, ID, and one extra. Cards stay snug without being forced; the saffiano grain stops them sliding around.
• 1 full-width cash compartment. One long pocket the full width of the bifold — fits unfolded currency notes without bending them.

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every wallet is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The saffiano cross-hatch finish is rolled into the leather panel during tanning — the texture isn't a coating, so it survives years of pocket wear without flaking or fading. The Nib emblem is debossed into the leather during finishing, and the lining is stitched not glued so the interior holds shape over time. The wallet ships with hardware that matches the leather: silver-toned hardware on the black variant, gold-toned hardware on the brown variant. Will the saffiano really stay scratch-resistant?
Saffiano is a roll-finished leather technique developed in Italy specifically for scratch resistance — the cross-hatch pattern is pressed into the leather panel during tanning. The texture survives keys, coins, and pocket wear in a way smooth leather doesn't. With normal daily use the wallet looks new for years; deeper scuffs over very long use blend into the cross-hatch rather than standing out.

What's the difference between black and brown variants?
Same wallet, same dimensions, same compartment layout — only the leather colour and the matched hardware tone differ. Black variant carries silver-toned hardware and black interior lining. Brown variant carries gold-toned hardware and brown interior lining. Both use solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating.
