The Croco Card Holder is FountainEarth's minimal card carry — finished in LWG-certified machine-embossed croco leather, sized at 10 cm × 8.5 cm × 0.5 cm so it sits absolutely flat in a front trouser or shirt pocket. 6 card slots arranged across both faces, no zip, no snap, no folding mechanism. Made from LWG-certified genuine leather, hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop.

How it is used

A card carry for the person who has decided cash is over and only carries cards — credit cards, transit, ID, two more for emergencies.

• 6 card slots. Three on each face, accessed by sliding the card up and out. Sized for credit cards, ID, transit, loyalty.
• 0.5 cm slim. Loaded at 6 cards, the holder sits at 0.5 cm — the slimmest profile in our catalogue. Sits flat in any pocket.
• Machine-embossed croco finish. The scale pattern is embossed into the leather panel by hand-fed machine — the texture is part of the leather, not a print. Catches light, hides minor scuffs.
• No closure. Open-pocket design — no zip, no snap, no flap. Pull the card from the slot, replace it the same way.
• FountainEarth Nib icon. A small debossed mark on the front face. Quiet branding.

Made in Bharat at our Delhi workshop

FountainEarth is a Made-in-Bharat leather brand. Our leather comes from LWG-audited tanneries, and every card holder is hand-stitched and finished at our Delhi workshop. The machine-embossed croco texture is registered into the leather panel during finishing — the scale geometry is uniform across the front and back faces, the panels matched by hand so the pattern reads continuously. The Nib emblem is debossed during finishing, and the slot lining is stitched not glued so cards slide cleanly. Fountain Earth's catalogue stays small by choice: two card holders — croco and saffiano — each with a deliberate texture choice.

The card holder ships with gold-toned hardware on the cast Nib emblem — solid zinc alloy with industrial-grade plating. Colour: classic black.

How to care for the wallet:

• Wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. No chemical cleaners.
• The croco emboss is durable, but loose keys in the same pocket can leave marks — keep keys separate.
• Store in the FountainEarth gift box between heavy use.
• If a card slot feels tight on first use, slide a card in and out a few times — the leather softens and the slot opens up.

Frequently asked questions

Is the croco texture real or fake?
The croco texture is machine-embossed onto genuine LWG-certified leather — the scale pattern is registered into the leather panel during finishing. It is not real crocodile leather; FountainEarth does not use any exotic or reptile leather. The aesthetic is the croco scale geometry on standard cowhide.

Will 6 cards really fit at 0.5 cm?
Yes — at 6 cards (3 per face), the holder sits flat at 0.5 cm. Loaded heavier than 6 cards, the slots stretch and lose their snug fit, so we recommend the 6-card carry as the design intent. For more capacity, see the Croco Slim Leather Wallet.

Is there any closure?
No — the design is intentionally open. Cards stay in place by the snug fit of the slot, not by any closure. The trade-off is speed of access in exchange for slightly less security than a zipped wallet.

Is FountainEarth the same as Fountain Earth?
Yes. Same brand, same workshop. FountainEarth is the compound brand mark; Fountain Earth is the spaced form we use in legal and trade contexts.

What does the warranty cover?
